Since January 2022, « France Rénov’ » has become the main public information source on residential thermal retrofit, thus uniting into a single connected network over 450 physical information spaces which are spread across France, and a central web platform. In the mid-term, the aim is to operate at least one information space per inter-municipal authority’s perimeter, where households and landlords can receive advice regarding available subsidies, as well as legal and technical expertise. This initiative reflects one of the attempts that the French Ministry for the Ecological Transition has implemented with a hope to massify energy saving through retrofit actions.
